FF Simple and Smart Trades Investment Services Limited is operating under the brand names of www.tradocenter.com and www.smart-trades.net.

The CySEC is the supervisory and regulatory authority for investment services firms in Cyprus and it is one of the 27 Board of Supervisors members of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).  Furthermore, FF Simple and Smart Trades Investment Services Limited operates in accordance with the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) of the European Union.  MiFID provides a harmonised regulatory environment for investment services across the European Economic Area (EEA).

FF Simple and Smart Trades Investment Services Limited is a member of the Investor Compensation Fund (“ICF”) for Investment Firm Clients.  The ICF is the Fund established pursuant to Article 59(1) and (2) of Law 144(Ι)/2007 which provides for the Provision of Investment Services, the Exercise of Investment Activities, the Operation of Regulated Markets and other Related Matters (“the Law”) as an investor compensation fund for CIF clients other than credit institutions and its powers and functions are regulated by the provisions of the Law and of the Directive 144-2007-15 of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (“CySEC”) for the Continuance of the Operation and the Operation of the IF Investor Compensation Fund (“the Directive”).  The purpose of the ICF is to secure the claims of covered clients against the ICF members through the payment of compensation, if the necessary preconditions are fulfilled.  The maximum amount of compensation paid to applicants, who will be deemed as eligible for compensation, is twenty thousand EUR.  The said coverage applies to the total amount of claims by an applicant against an ICF member, irrespective of the number of accounts, the currency and the place of provision of the service.  More information on ICF can be found here.
